St. Thomas’ pupils will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Trussell Trust to give back to our local Edinburgh food banks and the focus on collection will run during the week of 12-16 Dec.
We will be holding a couple of events throughout the week which we hope will help to boost donation to this worthy cause. The events are:
- Tuesday 12th December: Bake and Can Swap – Bring an item for the food drive and swap it for a baked good.
- Thursday 14th December: St Thomas’ Christmas’ Jumper Day – this is in lieu of the designated Christmas Jumper Day (usually 16th December). We ask that any staff member or student who wishes to wear their Christmas jumper on Thursday 14th donates an item to the food drive. Items for donation will be collected during period 1.
- Friday 16th December: If we have reached our target of 1000 items to donate, we will enjoy at 10-minute extended break!
