Pupil Council
Pupil Parliament:
St Thomas of Aquin’s has a vibrant Pupil Parliament which runs 5 times a year. Chaired by S6 pupils, pupils are invited to attend and create an agenda that discusses topics that are important to them. The Pupil Parliament is supported by 3 members of staff and Senior Leadership Team members will also be invited to support pupil voices becoming short-term and long-term action points in the school improvement planning
S6 Leadership Team:
Every year S5 pupils will be invited to apply for S6 Leadership positions. Pupils are asked to complete an application and then a vote from their peers and staff and senior leadership team interviews take place to identify the successful candidate. Once in place the S6 Leadership Team plan events that support the vision and values of the school.
