All S1 pupils will be participating in a trip to the Odeon cinema on Lothian Road on Thursday 16th November to see Kenneth Branagh’s updated film version of the Agatha Christie classic ‘Murder on the Orient Express’. This trip is totally free thanks to the national annual ‘Into Film’ film festival.
All pupils must have completed and submitted an up to date EE2 form to participate. These were sent to all pupils during the summer break to cover a range of trips throughout the year, however copies of this form can be obtained from the school reception should you not have received one or if you need to update any details before the event.
On the day of the trip pupils will attend period 1 classes then walk to and from the cinema accompanied by staff. Please ensure pupils are dressed appropriately for the weather. We hope to return to school at around 12.20pm after the film to complete the rest of the normal school day.
