Dear Parents
I am writing to you regarding the last day of the winter term at St Thomas’, Friday 22nd December. I am planning to close the school at 12.00pm. There will be year group assemblies to wish the pupils all the best during the winter holiday. The times of the assemblies are as follows:
S4-6 Assembly at 11.00 am.
S1-3 Assembly at 11.30 am.
Pupils will be dismissed after assemblies
The last day of term will be a non-uniform day where pupils can bring £1 as a donation.
The first day back for all pupils is Tuesday 9th January. The S1 Parents’ evening will take place on the 15th January and the S4-6 prelims will start on the 22nd January. I hope that pupils sitting their prelims find the appropriate balance between enjoying the holiday and ensuring they are prepared to achieve the best possible result in their exams.
I wish all pupils and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
