BBC Music Day – We uploaded two different musical experiences to the BBC website this month. The first was a creative response based on the John Cage piece ‘Short Ride in a Fast Car’ and the second was a recording of our own BBC music day assembly on June 13th . This assembly included a look into the music industry, the benefits of studying music and finished with our performance of ‘Habanera’ from the Bizet opera Carmen. The junior orchestra was joined by some guitarists and a clarsach for the occasion. Well done to all on a very impressive performance.
